CALLING ALL POWNCERS:
What would it take to keep pownce running besides a good amount of money?
...from SixApart, from the community / members ?
...from the population in general ?
A good guess is "prove its functionality in the long term".
A close second is "give it back to the users/members" for a share/stake in the development and further research/funding"
I ask this because with sites like twitter that are that much more popular, pownce really perked up the place ( the 'nets ) and proved further and beyond the doubt that a good community driven, social web site is viable, and if enough effort is put forward, profitable...
Thoughts ?!?!

I read on the Typepad blog that Pownce will be closed and integrated onto their platform, but does that mean that typepad will continue developing the pownce app or that they are taking it and making something of their own with the pownce api... I couldn't find a clear expalantion...
